BQ24045: BQ24045 Charging problem

Hi TI Team，

Due to structural problems, the battery end is about 22cm away from the BQ24045 Out Pin. When the battery voltage is 3.8V, plug in the USB to charge, you will find that there is charging current, but the charging 8 PIN shows a high impedance state. After 7 minutes, the charging current is normal and the 6PIN output is normally low. Is the abnormal waveform below? Is there a solution?

Hi,

The waveform your are seeing looks to be the battery detect routine. It seems the device is having trouble detecting the battery up until the 7 minute mark. We do recommend that the battery be as close to the device as possible to mitigate this possible problem.

Can you describe linear compensation? I'll see if there is a device that may meet that specification or feature you are looking for.
