Hi,

Do we need external pull up resistor for TPS2041B enable pin.

Kindly confirm.

    Hi,

    In one our existing application, our team designed without pullup resistor and EN pin directly connected to NPN transistor collector.

    When transistor On the Enable pin will be 0V through transistor emitter. 

    But the circuit seems working without pullup resistor.

    Kindly explain this configuration

    Hi Sir,

    The purpose of pull up resistor is used to resist some interference such as IEC ESD to limit the transient current.

    Make the part more robust.

    It also can work without the pull up resistor only if being above the opening threshold.
