What is the minimum output voltage supported by the LMQ61460-Q1? I'd also like to know it for the LMQ61460, and expect it's the same.

Webench gives a minimum possible output voltage of 2.85V, but the VFB is 1.0V, so I'm not sure why it's that high.

Hi Darren,

I will have to check the WEBENCH design again, but following datasheet specifications the output voltage should have a minimum recommended operating range of 1V per Section 8.3. However at 1V there maybe be some corner case conditions that wouldn't allow proper operation, again I'll have to look into this more...

OK, please let me know what you find out.

In the datasheet, there's a line in 9.3.11 saying RFBT is usually no smaller that 10kOhm. I wonder if that is related to the webench advice.

Hi Darren,

I've contacted the internal team and previous apps engineer. As stated previously 1V output may be possible but will require significantly larger output capacitance.

I'd suggest giving the customer a one of the LMQ61460EVMs to test and validate this low output voltage condition.
