Hi team,
My customer is using the LM5574 now. The max negative voltage is -2.89V 12ns, but the datasheet only have the DC value. We want to check whether it has risks and how to evaluate the risks. Thanks.

Hi Frank,
It is not recommended to exceed -1.5V on SW even for short lime periods.
How is the customer measuring the spike. Make sure they are using a probe with a close-coupled ground lead.
Can they share the layout? The layout should have short, thick traces to minimize parasitic inductance.
See the reference below for more information.
