MC33063A: MC33063A as boost converter Power supply

Currently I'm using MC33063 power supply regulator IC in our application as boost converter from 5V DC to 24V DC power supply with O/P load current of 0.3A. While we load the IC above 0.15A, the O/P voltage from the MC33063 is dipped to 14V DC. We couldnt able to achieve the full load current.

Please let me whether we need to use external switch or Not?
