Hello support team,

Customer inquires if bq77PL900 has internal protection diode. Could you support?

*Protection diode between VCx and VCx-1, e.g. VC5 and VC4.

*Protection diode between VCx and GND

    Hi Koji,

    The BQ77PL900 has balancing FETs across the VCx input pairs.  These have a body diode. They do not have a zener effect so do not exceed abs max.  The input pins do have an ESD structure to GND which might be thought of as a protection diode but will be more complex.
