Hi Experts,

We want to modify LM5175EVM to support min Vin 3.5V. How can we do that?

    Hi Hisao-san,

    Thank you for posting.  You should do the following to allow the LM5175 to operate with 3.5Vin:

    • Reduce R13 to 100k
    • Short D3 out
    • Remove R28
    • Change the MOSFETs to logic level devices such that they can be fully turned on with low driver voltage (~3V)

    If you have a 5 to 7V bias rail in the system, you can keep D3 and the onboard MOSFETs, and feed the 5V to 7V rail to VCC.
