Hi Sir,

My customer using TPS23754 in Soundbar application.

PoE will stop when music is suddenly "LOUNDER", but average power not over 25W.

Soundbar average output power: ~4.6W , and ~64W peak (4A).

Here are waveform s below, CH1. Soundbar output   CH2. POE 12V,

Q:

It looks trigger TPS23754 protection? I'm not sure. If any way can avoid the issue?

    Hey Ian,

    How long is the peak power for? The TPS23754 can only supply 25W of power - a higher power device is probably required.  I would recommend the TPS2373-4 in the PMP21318
