Hi Sir,

Pls advise charger voltage means: charger IC will give small current for charge when battery voltage>0.75V, and make sure if battery voltage rise up to 1.7V?

    Hi Ian,

    The BQ2970 does not have a precharge path to limit current during low voltage.  It does allow zero volt (0-V) charging down to its inhibit voltage.  The charger must limit the current if it recognizes the low voltage when the charge FET comes on, the BQ2970 does not limit current.
