LP87564-Q1: Setting of constant voltage values

Part Number: LP87564-Q1

Hello,

I have a question on setting up the EVM of LP87564Q1.
Is there a way to load the registers constantly with a value? After powering the device, the default voltages are 0.6V. Can these values be changed?

And if so, are there examples available, that show how can this be done?

Programming the device via I2C is not applicable, since the voltages for the CPU are generated by the LP87564Q1.

thanks & best regards,
Jens

  • Hello Jens,

The register settings you can change through GUI are written to volatile memory and these settings will be lost on power down as you mentioned. Unfortunately it is not possible to re-program the default values which are stored in OTP memory.

It is possible to have custom OTP programming, but it would need strong business case to support that. If you think that is something you would like to pursue, please contact with your local sales office, or you can email me directly at firstname.lastname ti.com and we can discuss the business case in more detail.

    Thanks.
