BQ40Z50-R2: Link to bqProduction SBB v1.0.11 that supports EV2400?

Hi,

TI support in this thread said that bqProduction SBB v1.0.11 onwards supports EV2400:  https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/832499   

In that thread they also provided a link to download that version since if you go here: https://www.ti.com/tool/BQPRODUCTION the only version available is v1.0.9 build 3.  Here's the dead link that support had provided: https://txn.app.box.com/s/w1wjb2l8ciaq5tq12dvi83ap1r4o1oah

Can you provide a new link (or update the main page) to provide version v1.0.11 or whatever version that supports EV2400?  I would like to test using the bqProduction software in a production setting using EV2400s, of which we already have several units.  Plus, EV2300s are listed as obsolete.

    Hello Charlie,

    What was supposed to be supplied in the box link? I'm not aware of any file sharing we've done using Box, was the link given on E2E?

    Hello Charlie,

    EV2400 terms of sale prohibit its use in production. I suspect that is the reason you are unable to find any production tools that use the EV2400.

    For bqMTester we have identified an alternative to the EV2300. www.ti.com/.../MKST-3P-ALT-EV2300

    We have seen similar requests for bqProduction and i believe there is an effort underway to enable support

    In the E2E forum link I provided earlier (https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/832499) user "Batt" (from Texas Instruments) said that bqProduction SBB v1.0.11 onwards supports EV2400.  Then user Clement MAGNIEN said:

    If the EV2400 is not recommended for production use and EV2300 is no longer available, what programmer and software combination would TI recommend for flashing firmware on the BQ40Z50-R2 for production use?  I'm pretty sure you weren't suggesting to use bqMTester for this application, but just for clarity, I do not think bqMTester and MKST-3P-ALT-EV2300 would work for the BQ40Z50-R2 for these reasons:

    Is there a programmer and software that TI currently provides that will program the BQ40Z50-R2 in production use?

    Hello Charlie,

    Unfortunately the only production programmer for bq40z50 uses EV2300 at this time. As i mentioned in the earlier post, there is an effort underway to check if MKST-3P-ALT-EV2300 can work with bqProduction. The product pages have a long cycle time to update. You can PM me for the latest updates.
