Hi,

the LMR33620-Q1 datasheet reports a soft-start time of 4 ms; Figure 7-4 shows a similar value.

I simulated the circuit in SNVMBG9A using PSpice for TI and the resulting start-up time is less than 1 ms.

Which is the right one?

Hello Alberto,

I understand the confusion. Please use the datasheet value of 4 ms. That is the correct value.

Hi Alberto,

No, the SPICE model is correct. Make sure that you are changing the parameters of the model. For example, change default FASTSS value to = 0. Also, change the parameter of the simulation profile file to go further than 1ms.

I ran the simulation on my end to double-check/confirm. Below I've attached a snippet of the results as expected.
