Part Number: UCC29002

Hi, expert

My customer is using UCC29002 but found a spick on the LS pin, the schematic and issued waveform are as following, could you please help analysis the reason behind? Thanks.

  • Hi, Yan

what is topology of this application?

I've assigned your post to expert, pls expect a response by Thursday.

  • Hi, Yan,

LS signal represents the load signal for the module with the highest load current.

if there is spike on LS pin, I would suggest firstly to check whether each module is loop stable, then pay attention to the layout of the current sharing circuit.

    • Best to route the Ls signal away from any source of switching noise.
    • single point groiund is important.
    • Low impedance busbar is also important.
    • it is not allowed to add any filter or external circuit on the LS pin.
