TPS22968: Need adjustable current limit solution

Hi team,

My customer is asking load switch solution and below is main specification they need.

1. output current>2A

2. need external Ilim pin to program output current rating

3. Need reverse current protection

4. active low (nice to have)

Please advise the suitable solution.

    Hi Paul,

    We offer load switches, high side switches and eFuses that may all be helpful here.

    TPS22950 is a load switch but it does not have integrated RCP.

    TPS27S100 is a high side switch but it does not have integrated RCP although you can configure an external RCP with passives namely a resistor and diode.

    TPS2660 is an efuse with integrated RCP.

    None of these are active low. The choice of what device to use depends on the level of integrated protection features present on these devices and the type of load run. Please reference this white paper to help the customer make the right choice: https://www.ti.com/lit/eb/slyy168/slyy168.pdf?
