UCC28070-Q1: How to design DCDC boost converter with 28070?

Dear team,

My customer wants to use our 28070 to act as boost converter. The input is 200V and the output is 800V, and the output power is 35kW-50kW. Could you please tell me how to design our device to meet the customer's requirement?

UCC28070 is not able to support DC input voltage, it is only fit for AC input voltage.

I recommended UCC28180 to support your request.

This device is not non-Q1 device. Do we have Q1 device for such application?

Only UCC28180 can support the DC input, but it is non-Q1 device. So there is not suitable analog solution for your application.

You may need to consider digital solution.

If you are interested in digital solution, you may need to re-post to UCD3138.
