TPS65276V: Difference between TPS65276V and TPS65279V

Part Number: TPS65276V
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65279V,

Hi team,

Due to the shortage problem, therefore, customer has few question about the difference between TPS65276v and TPS65279v as below.

  • They would like to know whether TPS65276v and TPS65279V share the same die. From the datasheet, the major different seems to be the peak current limit but the RDSon is the same. I can say the only difference between the two will be current limit sense circuit?
  • In customer's application, their continuous load current will be around 1.5~ 2A and the maximum transient current will be 3.5~4A. From the spec, the current limit of TPS65276v should be fine for their application. But since the project has been massed production already, customer doesn't have much time verification. So, they would like get some temperature measurement data from us. Could you kindly provide it? Whether temperature variation will influence the OCP and performance a lot between this two part since the current sense circuit different.

If the data is not allowed to share on E2E, please kindly send the email to me directly Thanks.
