I am now using TLV62568 in my mass production design, and there is a new request for auto discharge.

I want to use the PG pin of TLV62568P to implement auto discharge,

From TLV62130A datasheet, I have noticed that this PG pin can be used for auto discharge.

While the PG pin behavior of TLV62568P and TLV62130A is similar , can I use PG pin in the same way for TLV62568P

auto discharge?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Since the PG pin goes to low impedance status during shutdown you could use it to discharge the output capacitor.

To perform this, simply connect a resistor from the PG pin to the output voltage. Please select the resistance value in order to keep the sink current lower than 1mA for any working conditions.
