Hi all,
Is it possible to use a pair of UCC27289 to drive an external h-bridge for brushed motor?
Is there an example scheme or an application note that shows the configuration?
Regards,
Lorenzo

Hello Lorenzo,
It is possible assuming the driver is operating within the recommended operating conditions.
TIDA-00365 uses a different driver but it is applicable to the UCC27289.

Hi Mamadou,
thanks for yout quick response.
My application has to drive a brushed motor (48V / 40A ) at 100°C of ambient temperature.
Do you think UCC27289 can be used to drive the H-Bridge?
Do you have a better driver to suggest me?
Regards,
Lorenzo
Hello Lorenzo,
Depending on your application requirements (MOSFETs, Vbus = 48V, timing requirements, etc...), UCC27289 as well as our 100V gate driver portfolio should get the job done.
