TPS2530: TPS2530 vs. TPS2051C

Part Number: TPS2530
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2051C

Between TPS2530 and TPS2051C, which is recommended for new designs as a USB 0.5A switch? They differ in input voltage range, output discharge, UL listing, and other places, but what's the difference in application being targeted?

Thank you.

  • Hi Jonathan,

The mainly difference is output discharge and Enable polarity.

You can use either one based on your application.
