BQ79606EVM-897: Selected device could not be found with bqStudio

Hi support,

I am trying to run bqStudio to talk to my BQ79606EVM. I added the Monitor_1_03-bq79606.bqz file under config folder, but still got following pop up message after clicking Finish:

I checked the Device Manager, the comport did show up when EVM is connected to the PC.

Please advise!

Hi support,

OK, got it fixed. It's PSU voltage issue, should be 5.5V-30V.

BTW, where can I have the design files of the EVM?

I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue.

On the product folder for BQ79606A-Q1 device, under technical documents, you can find the EVM user's guide (https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slou471?keyMatch=BQ79606A-Q1&tisearch=Search-EN-technicaldocument)

Section 6 has the schematic/layout diagrams and BOM used for the EVM. We don't share the project files but the information included in the user's guide should help you get started with your design.
