Hi,

what is the maximum capacitance, connected between pin 7 (CS) and GND, that can safely be discharged at 100kHz, without damaging the internal MOSFET at pin 7 and the IC in general?

also is there a way to calculate this?

Hi,

You can refer to this link for R-C filter on CS pin. Typically 100pF is used most often, and < 1000 pF still being ok on the safety consideration. The capacitance is more on the function requirement and obtained value is usually between 50pF to 200pF.
