LP3871: REACH compliance

We currently use the above part in our production and it has flagged as being REACH non-compliant. can you tell me why this is and if there is a later model that is REACH compliant or is this component exempt?

Hi Matt,

This device is nearly 20 years old and was designed prior to the REACH initiative. As such not all orderable components will be REACH compliant. You can use the following link to locate an orderable LP3871 which is REACH compliant.
