BQ24050: Questions about low current battery management system

Part Number: BQ24050
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24040, BQ24085

Dear support

I want to integrate BQ24050 to our system for battery charging.

In our system it charge low current(40mA) 5V input, 4.2V li-po battery charging.

(Power supply only 200mW, 5V 40mA by wireless system)

And we have limitation of package(not BGA type) by EMS suppliers.

Now I consider BQ24050 can be set 40mA current charging by Riset.

And I have some questions about battery charger spec.

Q1) If power supply drop to 4.3V, what happen? (DPM function part informed decreasing current to 50mA.)

Q2) If I integrate BQ24040 or BQ24085 to our system with max resister value of Riset, (50mA charging setting)

Can they charge 40mA from power supply limitation?(I'm afraid drop voltage over current loading.)
