TPS63050: Start up Voltage

Hello,

I had a question about the start up voltage of TPS63050. This device has a 1.7V UVLO, but it's input voltage range is 2.5 to 5.5V, EN also has a fairly low ogic H voltage(1.2V).

I'm wondering what's the status when the input voltage is between 1.7 to 2.5V which is higher than 1.7V UVLO, but lower than required input voltage. thanks.

Hi Yue:

The recommend value is Vin larger than 2.5V, which we have done a lot of validation test. If the voltage is below this and still above the UVLO, the converter can still operate, but we can't say too much about its performance,

Honestly, I don't know how to response to my customer. do you know if still have output when the input voltage in between 1.7 to 2.5V?

customer need a solution to shut donwn the output when ambient temperature is above 70°， they are using a temperature breaker to control Vin, this

breaker can pull down the voltage to 1.9V when detect over temperature. they tried to find a buck-boost device with a start-up voltage higer than 1.9V.

Do you have a recommendation?
