TPS7A39: Is there any way to simulate load response of TPS7A3901?

Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using TPS7A3901 for their next products.

They are looking for a way to simulate the following items of TPS7A3901.

1. Load response.

2. Output voltage stability against Input voltage high speed changing.

3. Noise level with value changing of capacitor connected between NR/SS and GND/.

Hi Kazuya,

1. Load response.

Please see Figure 30-31 in the datasheet.

2. Output voltage stability against Input voltage high speed changing.

Please see Figure 26-29 in the datasheet.

3. Noise level with value changing of capacitor connected between NR/SS and GND/.

Please see Figure 16-17 in the datasheet.

The customer wants to change some parameters (Ex, Load transient time).

Is there no simulator for TPS7A3901?

Hi Kazuya,

You could use PSPICE for TI to simulate the load transients of the TPS7A3901 with different parameters. Please note, the simulation is only for reference purposes as the real board may have addtional parasitic capacitance and inductance.
