Hi Team,

Here are some question need your help:

1. Coudld you kinldy provide the output voltage line/load regulation data under -40~+85℃ ambient temperature?

We only find data under +25℃ in the data sheet.

2. Could Vout mantain 3.3V when Vin=4V?

Hi Jamie,

it should a data measured with the EVM. there is not variation over temperature. but I expect the variation would be small. if you need a accuracy regulated 3.3V at 4V input condition, I would suggest a buck-boost converter instead of this device.

Hi Jasper,

Are there any buck-boost converters recommended for both following requirements:
1. input voltage range between 1.2V and 4V, and start-up voltage includes 1.2V
2. Output voltage 3.3V with 100mA

I have found that most buck-boost converters need to start up with more than 1.8V,
but our application should start-up with 1.2V in some critical condition to record data.

You are right, the buck-boost devices are not designed for such a low startup voltage.

I have one question to your application: When you mention that the converter needs to startup at 1.2V, is the output capacitor discharged during this time or is it already charged to a certain level?

The output capacitor is discharged when the converter starts up at 1.2V.

Hi Andrew,

what about TPS61200 and TPS61020? both device support regulated 3.3V even VIN is higher. but please note that the efficiency at VIN>VOUT condition is low.
