LM5023: LM5023 Webench Custom components

Part Number: LM5023

I used web-bench to generate a LM5023 based design for an AC/DC power supply;

Vin 24 - 250Vac, Vout =12Vdc @1.5A

A number of custom components are specified. Web Bench does not support simulation for the resulting design. Is it safe to assume that for these specific resistors and cap that a value close to the ideal specified will not significantly degrade the performance and regulation?

  • Rsnub1/2 = 5.9462kΩ   (use with 5.94K 1%
  • Rvin = 1.83967 kΩ   (use 1.84kΩ ?)
  • Cd = 5.5076pF

Assuming that I can select commercial diodes that meet stated specs, is there any other spec constraints I should be wary off?

  • Dsec/Dsec2: VRRM 319, Io 3.75
  • D3 VRRM 347V, Io 40mA

thanks

  • Hi Donovan,

    Thanks for your interesting in TI's part.

    Yes, you can use the commercial  part  which it's value close to simulation recommend value  that will not dramatically degrade the performance and regulation .

    Thanks.
