UCC27211A-Q1: Rise Time

Part Number: UCC27211A-Q1

Hello Team,

My customer would like to know the correct rise time for  UCC27211A-Q1? The Product page and part finder show different values compare to the datasheet.

 Also just want to make sure if they can drop this part into a design with a UCC27212A and have a performance increase along with a reliability increase from the better UVLO to justify the increased expense.

    Hello Renan,

    For IC parameters such as rise time, the datasheet parameter table has the correct values and has been reviewed and validated before releasing the devices.

    The UCC27211A-Q1 and UCC27212A are very similar IC with the UCC27212A having a lower UVLO thresholds. Make sure that the application is compatible with the UCC27211A-Q1 recommended operating UVLO range, then replacing the UCC27212A with the UCC27211A-Q1 will have no issues.

    Regarding reliability differences, the UCC27211A-Q1 has been specifically qualified as an automotive device which as more reliability testing than the UCC27212A which is a commercial device.
