PTN78000W: Excessive Current Draw from INHIBIT

Part Number: PTN78000W

Hi Team,

My customer is using 2x PTN78000Ws on a board, one configured for 3.3 V and the other for 5.0 V. They have a switch to pull their ~INHIBIT pins to ground to put them in their low power/shutdown mode.  However, they are seeing current draw go up when they do this.

I can share a snipped of the schematic if needed, but one item to note is that both INHIBIT pins are connected together.

With 24 V input:

Board #1
Switch On, Supply draw from 24 V = 14.7 mA
3.3 V rail = 3.281 V
5.0 V rail = 4.98 V
Switch Off, supply draw from 24 V = 34.6 mA

Board #2
Switch On, Supply draw from 24 V = 14.8 mA
3.3 V rail = 3.268 V
5.0 V rail = 4.97 V
Switch Off, supply draw from 24 V = 36.4 mA

Any idea what might be happening?

Thanks,
Mitchell
