Hi team,

I would like to measure bode plot to see phase margin of TPS55165-Q1.

Is it possible to measure it by inserting the 50 to 100ohm resistor in between VOUT to VOUT_SENSE just like TPS55160-Q1?

    Hello Shinji,

    The expert for this device is not in the office this week, but technically this should be the right place for the injection resistor. Dependent on the equipment you are using, you might be able to reduce the resistance to minimize the impact on the sensing voltage. I have seen solutions with 5 or 10 ohms already.

    I do not know this devices internal structure in detail, but if you share your result, I think I can help to interpret it.

    In addition, a load transient measurement would help to be sure that the bode measurement shows the right result.

    Thank you for your reply. I will try to measure it by FRA altering series resistor value.
