LMR23625-Q1: lmr23625, LMR50410XDBVR

Part Number: LMR23625-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMR23625, LMR50410

Hi,

We are planning to use LMR23625 and LMR50410 in our design.
Our input voltage range will be 9V to 36V.

The absolute maximum input voltage rating for LMR23625 and LMR50410 is 42V and 38V respectively.

I am planning to use TVS diode for transient protection on input side.

But I have to use a TVS diode of operating voltage (Reverse standoff voltage) of 36V, and the clamping voltage will be in the 58V.
As the absolute maximum rating of regulator is 42 and 38V, this may damage the regulator.

Is there any other protection method I can use to protect the device against transients?
Please suggest.

Thanks & Regards,
Shafeeq
