TPS6594-Q1: Voltage on OVPGDRV

Dear TI E2E Community,

I'm looking for more detailed information regarding output voltage on pin OVPGDRV pin which is used to controll the pass through MOSFET which is supplying the VCCA pin.

I see that there is internal charge pump times 3, so can we expect that the voltage in OVPGDRV is approx 10 V? According to the Recommended operating conditio R1.2 this pin is typical 11.5V.

What is expected voltage on the pin OVPGDRV under normal operating condition?

Hi, Tomasz,

You can expect 10.5V to 12V on the pin OVPGDRV under normal operating condition.

Thank you Phil for instant response.

In parallel we measured this voltage on the board and it shows something around 9V but we have only one DUT so maybe this is specific for this sample.

Nevertheless your answer is sufficient for me and coprresponds with my understanding.

In case we will be able to perform some more measurements I will continue this thread.
