TL7702A: Use REF as an external power source

Hi All,

I have a question about TL7702A.

Is it possible to use the REF pin as an external power supply?
When used as an external power source, the load current is 100uA.
Is it possible to operate normally?

Hi Ishiwata-san,

I do not believe the REF pin can supply a load current of 100uA. REF can be used as a high-impedance voltage source.

My thought is to try and source current from the pin and measure the voltage as current is being sourced from the pin. If the voltage starts to drop because of the higher source current, then the pin cannot be used as an external sourcing power supply.
