REF1933: About output voltage accuracy Min/Max is +/- 0.1% at 25℃

Hi Team,

I understand that REF1933 can operate at “–55°C ≤ TA ≤ 125°C” but you don’t have Electrical Characteristics at “–55°C ≤ TA ≤ 125°C”.

Therefore, I have two questions.

[Q1]

I understand that Output voltage accuracy Min/Max is +/- 0.1% at 25℃.

If TA=125℃, maximum output voltage accuracy is +/- 0.35% (0.1% + 0.25%(25ppm * 100℃)).

Is my understanding correct?

[Q2]

I would like to use device like a REF1933 at –55°C ≤ TA ≤ 125°C.

Therefore, I need specs at –55°C ≤ TA ≤ 125°C.

Could you please let us know if you have any recommended device?

  • Hi Hide,

Q1. Yes, there is a difference between operational at -55C to 125C and characterized performance. The REF1933 is characterized from -40C to 125C which corresponds what you see in the EC table.

Close. The temp co is defined using the box method. This is shown in 9.3.2. The full temperature range is -40C to 125C so 165C.

    The error will be 0.1% + (25ppm/C * 165C) = 0.5125%

    Q2. We have the REF34-EP.

Does this device work for your function?

A device like the REF3433 is characterized from -55C to 125C so the temp co is valid for the full range.

  • Hi Marcoo-san,

Thank you for the information and kind support.

    I greatly appreciate your cooperation.
