LM334: LM334M Current Configuration

Hello all,

the LM334M has got one V+, one R and four V- pins. If I configure one of the V- Terminals by providing feedback to the R pin, are all other pins also configured to output the same current?

Any help is appreciated!

Hi Jens,

The LM334M has multiple v- pins but they are bonded out to the same pin on the die. this allows for flexibility in layout.

So you can decide to layout the device and then use the v- pin closest to the load to have a smaller IR drop.

This is a single current source so there is only 1 output current coming from the die.
