BQ27Z561-R2: internal temperature sensor accuracy

What is the BQ27Z561-R2 internal temperature accuracy by default?
I know this sensor can be callibrated, but that is not practical and required for us.
We just want to know the default accuracy for a new not configured chip.

Hello Marien,

The temperature accuracy is usually less than +-3degC for the battery gauges. The temperature calibration is for external thermistors.

The temperature accuracy is not critical for gauging accuracy(+-3degC is fine for gauging) If you are planning to use this for other calculations I would verify the accuracy for your system with a temperature chamber.

Thanks, than the temperature sensor can not replace an excisting one on the pcb.
