Hello Yichen, Thankyou for your message. I actually want to design a circuit that can take current between 20 - 1000 mA as an input with 3 - 20 Volts and send it to STM32 Microcontroller to carry out a 4 wire measurement, to measure resistance till 50 megaOhms. Please can yu tell me if I can use any IC's that do the same?

Dear TI Team
I would like you to answer the following questions regarding the input current limit of TPS63036.
1. Average input current limit is specified by 1A (typ) as follows. In the data sheet, it was stated that the input current limit changes due to the input voltage,
but it was not stated that the input current limit changes due to the change in Ta.
For example, if the temperature changes from Ta = 25 ° C to around 40 ° C, does the following Input Current limit change?
2. The data sheet states that the Input Current Limit is 400mA when the output voltage is 1.2V or less. Is it okay to recognize this value as a typ value? Also, does this value change depending on the IC and the ambient temperature?
3. In the case of TPS63036, it is considered that the IC operation (switching operation) stops when an input current exceeding the Input Current Limit flows.
If the input current temporarily exceeds the Input Current Limit and the IC stops operating and the current value falls below the Input Current limit, does the IC start operating again?
