LP5560: Lighting behavior abnormal at power on

Part Number: LP5560

Hi team,

My customer used LP5560 for breathing lighting and they faced a very high failure rate that cannot lighting up the LED.

The failure rate is about 80%.

User condition: VDD=3.3v, CTRL=3.3v (which is the same control sequence with VDD)  In the failure case VLED will be clamped at around 100mV.

It will have the chance to light up the LED with reset power but the fail rate is very high and customer  mentioned that it can be powered up normally by adjusting the current setting to a higher value but it can not suitable solution for their design due to the CTRL pin cannot be control at por.

And another competitor's can light up normally with the similar default setting current (5mA). So, is there any other reason can induce this failure? such as power sequence or any protection technique.  Thanks.
