TPS2552: Can TPS2553DRVR-1 replace TPS2553DRVR?

Hi Team,

TPS2553-1 is latch off version. TPS2553 is constant current limit version.
But TPS2553DRVR is out of stock so can I use the TPS2553DRVR-1 for replacement for TPS2553DRVR?
Which to prefer as we need a current-limited, power-distribution switches using N-channel MOSFETs for our application. But confused between which to select.

    Hi Tom,

    TPS2553 and TPS2553-1 can be replaced by each other.

    But the only difference is latch off function.

    So it depends on customer's application need.

    If the latch off function is ok from customer's side, that's fine to replace it.
