CSD19534Q5A: Missing parameters for Nonsync Boost Power Loss tool

Hi,

You have this very useful tool that help us calculate MOSFET power loss on a boost design, namely NONSYNC-BOOST-FET-LOSS-CALC.

However, there are many FETs missing in that tool, such as the CSD19534Q5A.

Do you have an updated version of that tool that includes all part numbers?

Or could you provide means to unprotect the sheet so I can manually type in the parameters from datasheet values (most of them, anyway)?

    Thanks for your feedback. The CSD19534Q5A is included in the boost tool. It may not be showing up in the pull down list because of your conditions. Please note, that all of TI's 80V and 100V discrete FETs require a minimum VGS = 6V. If your gate drive voltage is not high enough, then none of the 80V or 100V devices will be included in the drop down. The tool also filters out parts for VDS based on the output voltage. The minimum BVDSS must be at least 1.2 x VOUT. What are your input voltage, output voltage and gate drive voltage?

    Indeed due to some input parameters, the larger FETs were being filtered out.

    BTW, gate voltage is 7V, as we're building a boost regulator with LM5156H. However, I find it odd that the Webench tool is not suggesting NexFET so I'm manually placing it into the design and going through the details.
