LM66100: LM66100

Part Number: LM66100

Hi

I have connected two LM66100 in parallel for

The Vin1   is 3.4 - 4.8V.

Vin 2 is 5.5V.

The voltage source is slected by CE from a microcontroller with Logics : High (2.6V) and Low(0V).  Datasheet seems to say  that to TURN  OFF, CE should be higher than Vin.   Please clarify.

Thanks.

Siva

  • Hi Siva,

LM66100 is an ideal diode device and the turn on and turn off triggers are by comparing the VIN and the CE pins. When VIN is greater than CE by the turn on threshold the device turns ON and when CE is larger than the VIN by the turn off threshold then the device turns OFF.

LM66100 is not meant to be used for any load sharing system. We do not recommend this operation. This device is meant to be used for input power protection and for OR-ing where only one device in the connected structure is ON at any given time.

  • Hi Shreyas

Thank you for the prompt reply.

    kind regards
