LMZ14201H: LMZ14201H details confirm

Part Number: LMZ14201H

Dear Team

Good day!

Our customer want to confirm some details of LMZ14201H.

When the LMZ14201H Vin is present, but the ENABLE pin is disabled, will the internal timer be switching?  In other words, does the presence of Vin or the enabling of the ENABLE pin start the device's internal switching?

Thanks

BR.

  • Hi Leon,

If voltage on enable is small than the threshold( typ 1.18V), the device will be disabled. So in your word, when Vin>6V, the ENABLE pin start the device's internal switching.

You also need to notice that EN pin is internally pulled up to VIN and can be left floating for always-on application. It will be better to use a enable divider and turn on the regulator when VIN is close to reaching its typical designed value.

Please feel free to reaching out if you have any other questions.

    BR,

    Victor
