LM60430: Can not run simulation - not in Library ?

Hi,

I try to run the simulations provided on the webpag of the LM60430. I just download them then open the project and "click run".

I always get the following error:

"ERROR(ORPSIM-16583): Detected an imported model containing transistors or diodes. For such models, PSpice for TI supports a minimum of one and maximum of three traces. Reduce the number of traces and simulate again."

I guess the LM60430 is considered to be a third-party model because it is not in the provided library. Is there an easy way to fix this ? (or to add it on TI-side in the library ?)

Hello,

Can you share the schematic you are using?

Usually that popup comes when you are using third party model as you alluded too,.

Alright. Please share a capture of the error and I will forward to the modeling team to look into and resolve.

This device has the silicon die as LMR33630. If you want to perform electrical simulation on the device you could simulate with LMR33630 in meantime while the model issue for this device is getting resolved.

Hi,

Thank you for the idea. Sadly, there is no LMR33630 with a switching frequency of 1MHz but at least the simulation works ; ).
