Hi,

Is my understanding correct that TPS55165-Q1 can recover from the shut-down mode automatically if the short circuit is released when IGN pin is high or IGN_PWRL is high?

Hi Kato,

no, if the short circuit condition lasts very long time, >100ms for typical, the device will latch up, and need to be toggle the IGN

Hi Kato,

refer to the datasheet page 19, the transition between the RAMP and PRE_RAMP should be less than 5 times.
