    Tadahiko-san,

    LM5156 does not have a hiccup mode overload protection. If over current occurs, the device will limit the switch current limit to the maximum. Eventually it will turn off if thermal shutdown is triggered.

    Hiccup mode overload protection is enabled in LM51561. (please check datasheet section 9.3.11.)
