LP2950-N: LP2950CDTX-3.3/NOPB issue

Hi team,

My customer is using LP2950CDTX-3.3/NOPB to covert 12V to 3.3V in their project, but they failed the radiation spurious test in the FCC certification test of BT.

The reason for asking us about this question is because the customer said that if it is directly powered by a 3.3V battery, it can pass the test, but it will fail if it uses LP2950CDTX-3.3/NOPB.

This is the schematic, could you please help review it and give some comments?

Hi Ivy,

Can you please post the requirements and test methods of the FCC test? I am wondering if the radiated EMI measurement is using a bulk cable injection method? I have follow up questions if that is the case.

Are there load transients or line transients in the system during the test?

Is there any operational differences when the electronics are powered by the battery vs the LDO?
