TPS61099: (TPS610996 version), what is the maximum input voltage for a stable 4.5Vout

We have a battery that goes up to 4.375V which is tied to the TPS610996. Is there a maximum Vin before we start getting non-ideal regulation on the output?

Hi Nick,

the typically, device can't regulate the VOUT at VIN > VOUT+500mVA. refer to the description about the down mode.

Hi Jasper,

thank you for confirmation on the Down mode. I realized I should have specified more, our battery will go up to 4.375V, will the TPS610996 continue to boost correctly with 4.375V-->4.5V?

Hi Nick,

yes. the device works with boost mode as such input/output condition.
