Hi Team,

What is the Process Technology used to develop this device, is it LBC9 or BiCmos ?
Also what are the different process technolgies used to develop DC-DC & LDO, is there any presentation i can refer to ?
Hi Saurabh,
LP2981 is on a BiCmos process which is called JI1.
We don't really have any presentations on this this topic since it isn't usually a relevant way for customers to choose an LDO for their application. It is better to focus on the performance specs that are needed rather than try and choose a part based on the process it was designed on.
The only benefit I can think of is to know that a device is more modern processes like LBC9 which have better device reliability, improved production capacity and longevity.
