CSD19505KCS: RoHS excemption 7(c)-IV

Part Number: CSD19505KCS

Hi Team,

I am looking for an alternative to CSD19505KCS that meets RoHS 2 excemption 7(c)-IV.

What can you recommend here?

Also I was wondering why the device has two entries in the material content search.
One listing it as Green - Yes, the other No.

BR,

Stefan

  • Stefan,

    Thanks for checkign on this.

Exemption 7(c) IV is: Lead in PZT based dielectric ceramic materials for capacitors which are part of integrated circuits or discrete semiconductors

This does not apply to our power MOSFETs.

Our exemption we use is exemption 7 (a). The reason we have exemption 7(a) is because there is Pb in the die attach, this is the same for all larger die TO-220 MOSFETs from every supplier. There is no viable lead free solution on the market today for larger die sizes that meets reliability, electrical and thermal capabilities of high % content Pb solders.

As to why there is 2 entries for the same part, thanks for pointing this out, I will need to get this corrected on the web. The part should be Green: Yes

Any further questions I suggest you send me an email
