TLV62130: Non seamless Power Save Mode

Part Number: TLV62130

Hi,

I've the following circuit set with the 5.25v output. The input also has 8 x 220uF solid polymer caps (not shown). The inductor is a coilcraft 5030.

On the oscilliscope I can see the light load pattern. AC coupling shows about 60mV pk-pk so very reasonable.

I have a machine which applies a constantly increasing load and registers the point at which UVLO occurs, which is set at 4.5v. I can see on the scope that whenever the 62130 transitions between it's power save mode (at around ~166mA for me) there is a spike which triggers my UVLO.

I'm wondering if I can resolve this one. I'm already using double the capacitance on the output and additional capacitance appears to have no effect.

If the UVLO is ignored the AC analysis goes on to show about 40mV pk-pk.
